Meet Matthew!

Matthew was born in Southwest Georgia and raised on a farm, which shapes his commitment to advancing progress across all of Georgia, from our small towns to our cities. He has interned for Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock, U.S. Representative Sanford Bishop, and worked for State Senator Jason Esteves, gaining hands-on experience in legislative work and constituent service. Matthew’s policy interests include healthcare, agriculture and rural development, and energy. As President of CDG, he is focused on rebuilding the organization, reconnecting with chapters across the state, and bringing Democratic leaders to Georgia’s college campuses.
